Rebecca Winters is generally an "auto-buy" author for me. I have read most of her books. This book isn't one of my favorites(I like her trilogies the best--the bachelor/baby ones are my absolute favorites). I did enjoy this book, and will keep it. Rebecca Winters is best when she writes about rich, sexy, and incredibly sensitive and understanding men. The hero in this book is a wounded military man dealing with his past. The heroine is an emotionally wounded divorcee who has lost her confidence due to her cheating ex and his mistreatment of her. The pair find themselves thrown together in a shared house, and help each other heal emotionally. Conveniently, the heroine is a nurse so she can help the hero out with his recuperation. I liked the hero and the heroine, and was rooting for them to have a happily-ever-after.Product details

Both main characters are so likable, you can't help wanting to see them come together. It was a romantic story, and how they open up about their problems to each other and find peace.
Annabelle Was Working For Mel In His Car Dealership When Guilio Came In To Talk Business With Him. Guilio Designs Cars And Then Sells Them. He Asks Annabelle If She'd Do The Modelling For His Cars And She Says Yes. Lucca Is His Son Who Comes Home From Being Discharged From The Military Due To Being Injured. He Gets Quite A Shock To Find Annabelle In His Farmhouse. They Decide To Share The Place And They Fall In Love. Rebecca Writes Such Wonderful Stories That I Love To Read. She's One Of My Favorite Authors.
I enjoyed this Rebecca Winter's novel about an Italian soldier who returns home with permanent injuries from the Mid-East War. It opened my eyes to some of the trauma soldiers endure.
This book is very good and a keeper. The writer told of different places the female lead went, to take photo shoots, that made you want to get on the internet to research them for a vacation. I also liked to see two peoples different perspectives of one person (his father). It kind of reminded the reader, that you shouldn't judge someone just by your interaction with them, which is only one sided. It is important to get to know them through the eyes of others also, who may see a different side to the same person.
